Medusa Rising is a newsletter and social media platform that builds on the radical materialist feminist (#radmatfem) frameworks developed by THE RADICAL NOTION. We exist to take radical materialist feminism into the next arm of its spiral: to share these ideas and analysis all over the world in easily accessible and useful forms. We are eager to promote new feminist work on women's needs, life-wisdom, ideas, culture, soulcraft, politics, art, economy, ecological work, and social movement.

Medusa Rising amplifies an intergenerational lineage of women's dreaming toward more secure embodiment and agency, a human world fully re-embedded in the ecology that supports us, committed to care for lineage, earth-world, and each other. We welcome young rad fems into a deep sisterhood where we reclaim and reimagine women's social and spiritual history. We want to uplift women, issues and ideas often disenfranchised in 'mainstream feminism.' We amplify projects and sister organizations that push for women's rights and protections in all regions and cultures.

Patriarchy is the interlocking legal, economic, cultural, and religious systems and traditions that support male supremacy. It was born in the commodification, rape, and murder of women. It has existed in remarkably consistent forms for five thousand years. Medusa Rising means for this millennium to be its last.
